Bona Restaurant proudly presents Jan Filipczyk – a culinary visionary bringing his masterful expertise to our Italian fine dining kitchen. Jan is not only an accomplished chef with years of experience, but also a trainer and judge in culinary competitions, shaping and inspiring new generations of culinary masters. His culinary journey began in Kraków, where after graduating from a gastronomic technical school, he honed his skills under renowned chefs such as Michael Canoo and Joseph Seeletso. He also gained international experience across Europe – in Luxembourg and Ireland – and his talents have been recognized by both Michelin-starred hotels and restaurants in Kyiv. Returning to Kraków, he went on to run his own restaurant and contribute to training programs for aspiring chefs. Today, Jan combines his passion for perfection with fine dining excellence at Bona Restaurant. His approach blends classical techniques with creativity – each dish tells a story of flavor, top-quality ingredients, and refined craftsmanship.
